In a summer abroad program in Italy I, along with 2 students worked on building a start-up business for my entrepreneurship course. As a team, we collectively decided that we wanted to create a start-up that catered environmentally friendly customizable backpacks to parents and children in California. This project allowed us to apply what we learned about creating a business model. Some of the key steps of the business model that we used were: creating a value proposition, customer segments, channels, customer relations, revenue streams, key resources, partners, cost structure, and financing.
